Our genuine SAAB GT1752 turbocharger repair and replacement cartridge/CHRA(Central Housing Rotating Assembly) will always prove to be the most cost effective route taken when repairing the turbocharger from the 2000, 2001, and 2002 SAAB 9-3 2.0 Liter(4 Cylinder B205E) plus all turbocharged 2.3 Liter(4 Cylinder B235E) engines from 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004!

All new turbocharger CHRA replacements allow for a simplistic installation, and are expedited with a complete instructions, as well as a full year, unlimited mileage, warranty!

The GARRETT part number(7 Digit Part  # Which Begins With A 4) is stamped on the original turbocharger's aluminum compressor housing would allow for a simple verification of the cartridge required for any specific GT17 turbocharger repair. Our cartridge/CHRA assemblies are the internal "Working Section" of any original SAAB turbocharger which allows for simple and effective repair of the 2000 - 2002 9-3 (With 2.0 Liter Engine) or 1999 to 2003 SAAB 9-5(With 2.3 liter Engine) with use of our GT17 turbocharger cartridge. 

Our GT17 internal cartridge is a low cost alternative to a complete turbocharger replacement and includes a VSR balanced SAAB compressor wheel/turbine assembly, bearing housing, as well as our NEW upgraded 360 degree turbine oil seal(For Superior Longevity And Oil Retention), bearings, o-rings, thrust assembly and internals. Installation is simple, will not require special tools or skills(only 8mm and 10mm box or open-end wrench required), and can be accomplished in under 30 minutes. Upon installation of our new cartridge replacement, there would be no requirements for re-balancing, modifications, etc.

The last 5 years has spawned various "Aftermarket"(CHINA) options of the GT17 turbochargers which would save cost but will not have the quality or provide service longevity as compared to our original SAAB replacement assemblies! If purchasing a new GT17 turbocharger replacement from GARRETT, cost could be well over $1000 and be supplied with a new turbine housing, compressor housing and waste-gate actuator...all of which may be re-used from the original GT17 Turbocharger assembly.
