Many late model Saab applications implement Trionic systems which incorporate a single control unit to control all aspects of engine management (direct ignition, fuel injection, and turbo/APC). Although these systems do a precise job of controlling the OEM engine, they also have a combination of tightly implemented safety parameters that are typically/easily run into when attempting to uprate additional engine power/torque via higher boost pressures, additional fuel, etc. Because of this "safety web", many late model Saab owners have been very frustrated with their attempts to achieve higher levels of engine performance...until they discover our Red Series engine management upgrades!
These upgrades are a matter of reformatting the factory engine management systems (computer) and the results are staggering! Installation is a simple matter of removing the model's OEM Trionic engine management control unit (ECU) and replacing it with our Red Series upgrade. All of our reformatted ECUs were developed in Sweden which are both bench and road tested before delivery for unsurpassed quality assurance. The end result is a Trionic Saab with a passion for acceleration and our upgrades carry no hidden fees, component requirements (wastegate actuators, fuel injectors, etc.) or produce any side effects (idle quality, emissions, etc.)
