| These quality high performance cross drilled rotors will fit in place of the factory rear rotors on all SAAB 9000 and 9000 turbo between 1988 and 1997. New rotors and new reduced pricing as of 2005!
Priced as each and two rotors will be required to completely upgrade the front end of the above listed vehicles.
Our SWEDISH DYNAMICS cross-drilled rotors will absorb and dissipate heat much more efficiently than it's stock counterparts…dyno tests show reductions of up to 200 degrees F! Cross drilling and the difference in temperature will improve the following:
Braking: The more efficient the brake components are at dissipating heat, the more efficiently it will stop the car.
Brake component life: Lower temperatures dramatically increase the life of both the rotor and brake pads...your Saab's brakes will require less frequent service and rotor warpage is a thing of the past.
Reduced fade: Another advantage of cross-drilling takes place during hard braking. In the case of OEM rotors, brake shoe out-gassing can build into to a "layer" that forces the pad away from the rotor. Our cross-drilled rotors provide an escape path for these gasses which allows better contact at the brake's friction surfaces, as a result, fade is substantially reduced.
Wet weather braking: This is noticeably better, as well, since these same escape paths work for water which is normally trapped in the pad contact area.
These upgrades start with only the best quality high nickel rotors which we warranty for a lifetime against cracking at drill points and failures common to low quality rotors. We cross drill our rotors by means of a computer aided process. Cross drilled rotors available for all Saab applications and are a direct factory retrofit.
