The TURBO XS atmospheric blow-off valve will replace the SAAB factory bypass valve on all 1993-1997 9000 turbo, 1994-1998 900 turbo as well as the 1999 9-3 turbo models. It is also possible to install this valve on early 1985-1993 900 and 1986-1989 9000 with the LH fuel management as long as this valve is integrated as close to the throttle body as possible. Replacing the factory bypass valve with this BOV will provide adjustable performance and a vocal relief (pressure relief) which announces your vehicle as being turbocharged. This valve will create a strong "Pssshhh!" when coming from intake manifold pressure to vacuum (between gear selection/shift, for instance). This component is completely adjustable and comes with full instructions, tools, and adjustment shims. The valve is of a piston (not diapraghm as OEM) type and is literally indistructable.
