Our 2.0 liter turbocharged SAAB camshaft upgrade set greatly enhances overall engine horsepower/torque while also reducing turbocharger "Lag"!
Lobe separation is adjusted to perform much more aggressively towards factory RPM limit of 6000-6500. Exhaust duration is reduced to increase exhaust velocities which will increase turbocharger boost potentials, plus the intake duration extended 14 degrees!
Increased lift is modified to work within the maximum allowable compensation via the SAAB factory hydraulic valve tappets. This is a "Drop-In" camshaft without the need for additional modifications, and will show no effects to idle quality, emissions, and normal engine running conditions.
Our Red Series camshafts are precision ground and then fully Parkerised/hardened to provide maximum service life, and we even offer a lifetime warranty against wear on these performance camshafts! Our test 1999 9-3 showed a 34 BHP improvement after installation of our camshafts, but results may vary relative to additional engine modifications, etc.
